Yes, I did feel that deserved to be typed such, because this past week has been ridiculous (relatively). I just started a 9:30am-2:30pm (5 hour-a-day), 5 day-a-week, 3 week course up in Oswego and it's taking a lot out of me. Since it's still summer I'm commuting everyday from Syracuse which is about 45 minutes to an hour away. Standing out in the sun painting with oils (which I haven't used since Fall semester) is more wearing than the 3-4 hours-a-day of Aikido I was doing during the rest of the summer.
The plus side is that I'm making lots of pieces fast. They aren't big but you can begin to see improvement in each one. It's focus is on landscapes too, which has never really been a strength for me.
I also have a 32"x 40" piece of mat board in my Studio at home waiting to be worked on. My last series, "An Elemental Clash" is being expanded upon as soon as I can find the time to start (details are a surprise to everyone who doesn't know yet). I'm really eager to work on it since it will be a combination of everything that I have found important for many years now (everything from Aikido to Realism). Even if I can't find the time during this course to work on it, you will definitely see it before the end of the summer.
Until then, Peace!
Lach
